Description
The new High definition radar scanner from Garmin ensures you get even greater picture clarity from your Garmin radar and provides a new level in scanning capability.

The GMR 18 is a compact 4 Kw radar scanner. The 0.45 metre diameter makes it twice as powerful as most of it's competitors in the same size and price range. The 36 nautical mile range combined with the 5 degree beamwidth give the unit excellent weather penetration and target definition.

To help you avoid any potential collisions on the water, the GMR 18 provides (MARPA) target tracking, which allows you to track the bearing, course, speed and predicted closest approach of up to 10 targets allowing you to plot a safe course.

As with all Garmin radars the GMR 18 benefits from self contained signal processing which makes the images on your radar screen more defined and easier to depict.

Connect your GMR radar to any Garmin marine network compaitible chart plotter to display your radar information.
