We have joined forces with Blue Box Sailing Experiences to bring you the ultimate Gift Idea!

Blue Box Sailing Days offer you the chance to sail aboard Whitbread 60 Blueprint, a World famous 64ft Ocean Race Yacht. Whitbread 60 Blueprint, formerly Intrum Justitia was built in 1992 for the 1993/4 Whitbread Around the World Race, skippered by Lawrie Smith, during which she came 2nd and walked away with an impressive new world record, for the number of miles sailed by a monohull yacht in 24 hours - 428.7 miles!

These Experience days are ideal for complete novices to experienced sailors. A fantastic way to see life aboard a professional race yacht.

The recipient will receive a metal tin containing all the information they need for their trip aboard Blueprint & an open dated voucher valid until the end of September 2008.

All participants must be over 12 and anyone aged between 12 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.


The Whitbread 60 Experience
A day out with a “hands on” focus you will get to try your hand at helming the 64ft yacht, test your strength using the coffee grinders to raise the sails and to trim them once they are up. Together with your fellow crewmembers you will be working as a team, to get the best out of Whitbread 60 Blueprint. Our professional crew will talk you through all aspects of sailing the yacht from sail changes to tacking and gybing and by the end of the day you should be working as part of slick team.
