We offer three total solutions for handheld satellite communication. Two of these operate over the Thuraya network and the other operates over the Iridium network. These packages are total packages complete with airtime on a pay as you go basis.
Thuraya satellite phone network was launched in 2001 to offer high quality, affordable satellite communications to areas of high population, where coverage of GSM does not exist or is limited. The Thuraya coverage area includes North and Central Africa, Middle East, India, Central Asia and Europe. The majority of calls are charged at a flat rate of $0.95 per minute to Public Service Telephone Networks. Top-ups are available via physical scratch card, or electronic pin code.
Thuraya 2520 Package
The most sophisticated SatPhone available on the market. It not only works on the Thuraya satellite but incorporates a tri-band GSM and 1.3 megapixel camera, and slot for SD memory card to expand the internal memory. It has GPRS, WAP, Bluetooth, Infrared and USB connectivity all included in the standard package.
