Here at Mailspeed Marine we have a wide selection of marine winches to make life at sea a little more manageable. Our boat winches are made from reliable and robust materials and are designed to be efficient and as compact as possible. Modern boat winch designs also aid in keeping tangling to a minimum, thus avoiding damage to ropes. We stock many manual winches which are ideal for smaller vessels or for leisure sailing and efficiently designed to make sure that you don’t strain any muscles in using them! Electric boat winches are becoming evermore compact, though, and models such as the Andersen winch are therefore becoming more and more popular. Electric winches of the past could sometimes be dangerous to use, but modern designs aim to provide optimum safety by covering moving parts (although, clearly, care must still be taken when using them).
